small works | big impact 2022: group exhibition

17 November 2022 - 18 February 2023
This year’s diverse exhibition of intimately scaled works by gallery artists and special guests explores the surreal, with dreamlike compositions, ambiguous narratives, and imagery of the natural world. Innovative works reward an extended look and may have viewers doing a double take! Some of the highlights include Christian Faur’s pixelated crayon mosaics, Tom Eckert’s magical trompe l’oeil carved and painted wood sculptures, fantastical multi-figure compositions by Lawrence Tarpey, Dana Brown’s remarkable and complex encaustics, and Christina Bothwell’s figurative glass sculptures. Although small in scale, the works in this collection have real presence, conveying the sensibility and proficiency of their accomplished makers.

Small works | big impact is an annual exhibition that affords our clientele the opportunity to discover and acquire exquisite original works by artists new to the gallery. They are great options for intimate spaces and make unique holiday gifts – even if you're just treating yourself! The gallery will allow purchased works to leave in time for the holidays and plans to introduce new works periodically through the exhibition, which continues into the new year. Participating artists include: Samantha Bates, Christina Bothwell, Dana Brown, Tom Eckert, Christian Faur, Hillary Waters Fayle, Meg Lagodzki, Bryce Lafferty, Nick Moen, William Henry Price, Danna Ray, Casey Roberts, Paul Sattler, Laura Sellers, Brian Sostrom, Lawrence Tarpey, Jessica Tenbusch, Sarah Vaughn, and John Paul Vincent.
